Don't feed the coatis
Coatis are Costa Rica's equivalent of our racoons. We saw a bunch of them while driving north from La Fortuna. When my wife opened the back door to get at her camera, one of them saw a bag of tortillas on the seat and pounced. Being busy with my own gear, I didn't see any of it. All I heard was my wife scream and the sound of a dozen small mammals feeding...on something 8-0
