Baladi dancers
We spent Sathurday evening at "La Couscoussiere d'Ali Baba" which is renowned for its Magrebian cuisine and its baladi dancers. Although located right next to the Gay Village, it was quite obvious that the belly dancers were definitively (1) not men and (2) better than anything our friends have seen during their last trip to Egypt.
The environment was very photographer-fiendish. Fast moving subjects in a dark and crowded room. I lost a lot of great shots simply because the autofocus couldn't lock on.
