Why you'd rather catch a bullet than a piece of shrapnel
I am spending a few days in Ottawa for a conference and took a couple of hours to visit the new Canadian Museum of War. It was pretty cool but a hard place in which to take good pictures. I came across this creepy illustration that conveniently explains why shrapnel wounds are infinitely worse than bullet wounds. It made me reflect about all of those that have sacrificed so much.
