Parliament in HDR
The latest version of Photoshop allows you work in High Dynamic Range (HDR) in which multiple exposures of the same image are combined to create a 32 bit file. When compressing it back to 8 bits, you can really bring out details in the shadows and highlights.
This is my first attempt at doing this and it shows. I only took three bracketed exposures and some of the highlights could have used five. Furthermore, the night was windy and there was enough vibrations to make the image useless above this reduced 700 px size.
Nevertheless it looks pretty cool. To learn more about this techniques (or to see some really cool images) check out the Flickr HDR Group.
