Alkali Lakes?
Anybody knows what is wrong with those lakes in Eastern Saskatchewan? Thanks to Google Earth, I know that the small village at the top is Meacham, population 90. A search through its yellow pages revealed the presence of a grain elevator but no mine or industry that could explain the white color.
And no it's not ice and snow. These parts can get cold but that would be ridiculous.
