Skyscrapers
It is said that life is only worth living if you are able to experience and enjoy new things. After I gave my presentation, I took the elevator up to my room on the 36th floor. Once I got out, I immediately started to feel "weird", almost like being on a boat. Once I got to my room, I saw the water in the toilet and realized that the wind had picked up and that the building was swaying very perceptively.
After the evening sessions, some of us ended up in the suite of the conference organizer where the most notable element was certainly the bathtub. You'd have to see it to believe it, but this thing had no faucet. The water was coming in from a hole in the ceilling.
Finally, once we polished the bottle of Bowmore, I discovered that I also like vodka and tonic.
As I said...new experiences.
