Postcard from Costa Rica
Greetings from paradise! It´s funny that we had to travel close to the equator in order to escape the opressive heat and humidity of Montreal. In short, the weather here has been gorgeous.
We are currently staying in Chachagua, a rain forest 20 km south of the Arenal volcano. Today is laundry day so I´m writing this in an internet cafe in La Fortuna with a view of this gorgeous volcano only 2 km away.
Unfortunately their computers won´t recognize my camera so I´ll have to make do with an earlier shot from our trip in 2003. In this case, you are looking at the savanna-like province of Guanacaste during the dry season.
