A couple of red eyes
How do you choose a first entry from 969 photographs? Our last trip to Costa Rica took place during the end of the dry season and we didn't see any of its famous tree frogs. This time I was determined to find some but it took 13 days before it finally happened, at the end of a 2 hour nighttime hike in a private reserve near Manuel Antonio. The male is the little one on top.
I wish to personally thank Ed, Dirk, Myla, Bernard, Francois, Jennifer, Jessyel, Karl, Miles, Rannie and Sam for their wonderful entries and everyone who voted for my last PhotoFriday entry. Not too many people return from a long trip and find a 25% increase in traffic.
