Hanging Bridge
Described as one of the most beautiful environmental friendly project in Costa Rica, the Arenal Hanging Bridges were certainly worthy of their reputation. We spent 2.5 hours hiking on their superb trails that were produced by embedding a concrete grid into the ground and allowing plants to grow over it. Several bridges span deep chasms, some of which have an excellent view of the nearby Arenal volcano.
During this hike, we found ourselves pelleted with small, and not so small, branches courtesy of a group of Capucin Monkeys.
