Volcanoes
This is probably the last time for a while that I'll need to dig into my archives to feed the photoblog. By the time you read this, we should be in Rome.
I hear it's pretty.
[update] Although we are safe and sound in Rome, you can guess from the absence of updates that not everything went according to plan. It appears that our internet connection at the appartment is suffering from major DNS issues. Although I can ping any server that I want, the browser, e-mail and FTP applications will only connect to a small minority of them. Although these include Google and my work e-mail, neither Digital Apoptosis, Twitter, Flickr nor Facebook are currently visible. I have thus e-mailed to my brother and asked him to post this update for me.
Even putting ip addresses of public DNS name servers did not resolve my problem so I am hoping that the beginning of the work week will bring out a solution.
