Far from home
This was taken of the westernmost tip of Oahu, 7901 km from my Montreal home. At the time, I thought that this represented the greatest distance that I had ever traveled so I picked one of those bleached coral and turned around.
"Unfortunately" a later check with Google Earth demonstrated that our drive around South West corner of the island took us an extra 5 km further away. Oh well!
But that's as far away from home that I have ever stood on my own two feet. There!
