White Christmas
Today's snapshots won't garner any photographic accolades but I wanted to document the atmosphere in the house one week before Chirstmas. Tonight, we'll be hosting our lab party and the living room looks better and cleaner than it had all year.
The reason why everything seems to be ready ahead of time is because we were kept indoors by the season's first snowstorm which has dropped a record 45 cm (17 in) of snow. The results are seen in this shot of my backyard as it was illuminated by a street lamp and dawn's first light.
