Beubaille 2005

2005 was not as hectic as the previous year but it certainly had its share of significant milestones:

I started writing for Metroblogging Montreal and took over as the city captain.

We vacationed in New York and Costa Rica and I attended scientific meetings in Atlanta and Ottawa.

Both Christiane and I turned 40.

I published two scientific papers, one of which is probably the most significant of my career.

I also wrote, or co-wrote, two book chapters, a scientific review and three more scientific papers that will come out in early 2006.

I have sold 743 images through various microstock agencies.

After taking 10,000 pictures, I switched from a FujiFilm FinePix S5000 to a Canon Rebel XT.

I got three PhotoFriday Noteworthies and four Photo of the Day at Shutterbugs.

The number of monthly visits to Digital Apoptosis has increased from 18,000 to 45,000.

As for 2006, all I ask is for somebody to give Dubya a blow-job in the oval office so that they can finally impeach his ass.
