DA Top ten #2
This is the half-year anniversary of Digital Apoptosis and the time has now come to repost my ten favorite/most popular entries of the last trimester. Just click on the thumbnails to get to the larger Image.
#1 Cavtat Sunset: Frequent visitors to my site have probably guessed by now that I have a thing for sunsets...especially when water is around.
#2 Venus Transit: An astronomical event, unseen in more than a century, made to look like the character of a cheezy movie.
#3 Canada Day fair: Actually a series of five images rich in light and color.
#4 The roofs of Dubrovnik: My trip to Croatia has certainly been the most photographically satisfying of my life.
#5 A night in Ottawa: Another series of five diverse images taken within a span of less than one hour.
#6 A moment she'll remember her entire life: Probably one of the best picture ever taken of my youngest daughter.
#7 Play: I wasn't sure whether this shot was really that good...the comments convinced me otherwise.
#8 Late Dinner: Luza Square at night.
#9 Oh God no!: It was noted that this image is rich in contrasts. The smallness, fragility and color of life versus modern technology.
#10 Washington Monument at dusk: I had to "abandon" my family at the hotel so that I could run around during the golden hour. Fortunately I bought their forgiveness at Macy*s beforehand ;-)
