DA Top Ten #4
Has it been one year already?
#1 Snow on fence: Who would have though that I would take my best shot of the trimester while waiting for the car to warm up.
#2 Flute Player: While downtown was alive with holiday shoppers, this blind homeless lady was alone in her own world.
#3 Leaves of ice: I took a break from a family gathering and walked around my brother in law's condo to look for interesting things.
#4 Deicing: Mississauga being totally uninteresting, I almost didn't bring my camera. The whole plane would have heard me moaning and crying as this unexpected conjunction of light and events took place next to my window. The fact that three out of my four best shots were not taken during "photographic excursions" is one more argument for carrying my camera at all time.
#5 Hot shorts: I just love the bright colors in this one.
#6 Lachine park in early winter. In December, at high lattitude, the golden hour last almost all day.
#7 Village on ice: I must have driven by Sainte Anne de la Perade dozens of time. Once again the need to feed the photoblog encouraged me to stop and discover the world around me.
#8 Hiking trail: This one looked amazing once printed and framed.
#9 They're here: A old picture taken half a lifetime ago.
#10 There are still good people out there. An earlier shot from Croatia was the perfect backdrop as I gave thanks for the kindness of a stranger.
