While this last trimester was notable for visits to Rome, Amsterdam, New York and Quebec City, it will certainly be remembered for my acquisition of Photomatix Pro which finally allowed me to produce decent HDR images.
]]>My favorite painting from the Metropolitan Museum of Art shows Antoine-Laurent Lavoisier (1743–1794) along with his Wife Marie-Anne-Pierrette Paulze (1758–1836). Lavoisier, who is known as the father of modern chemistry, is famous for his discovery of oxygen. If it wasn't for him, we'd all suffocate.
